Contributor role assigned to user but not taking affect on user's end



I am working with new workspace environment and assigned a user contributor role. The user has pro account. However, upon repeated attempts the user still cant seem to see the edit option on dashboards or access option on workspace. I had him sign out as well as restart his computer. I also tried him giving the admin role but no use. Few days ago i assigned someone else contributor role and it worked instantly. Has anyone else faced similar issue? Any workarounds?
