Consume Dataflows in Excel

Appologies if this is the wrong forum but does anyone know if there are plans to enable consumtion of dataflows in Excel?

We have been looking for a mechanism to share large datasets from SQLserver with end users in Excel. Security restrictions (firewall and ACL) means direct connection is not possible, dataflows looks like it would be ideal but I can't find any reference to it coming into Excel.

HI @itchyeyeballs ,

I'd like to suggest you enter to query editor to copy fully dataflow code and paste to excel query editor.
I haven't found any available data connectors allow you to use excel to get dataflow.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately it didn't work, I guess I'll just have to hope MS eventually add a connector to Excel
