We have a report that is using multiple data sources. One source is MSSQL 2014 sitting on a vm in azure which has the Power BI Gateway installed on it and is working fine. Our second data source is MYSQL as a service in azure. We are looking to set this report up on a refresh schedule but are getting the following error. I am able to connect to all data sources and refresh the report from my desktop. Once we try and publish it we are getting the following error.
Unable to connect: We encountered an error while trying to connect to . Details: "We could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster. Please find more details below about specific errors for each gateway instance."Hide details

Hi @jfrench_1941 ,
Please review the solution in the following threads and check if they can help you resolve the problem.
Power BI Desktop - Unable to Connect to my local MySQL dbase (The correct connector download link should be here)
Error when creating MySQL data source in Power BI Gateway
Unable to download Connector/Net 6.9.9 for 64-bit Windows

On the gateway install the MySQL /Net driver. The Community package only offers the x86 installer but it actually contains drivers for both x86 and x64.
Kinda funny - you would think that with the Azure location no gateway would be required...
