Connected Excel Tables from Power BI (Public Preview) - you dont have right permissions

Hello All,

I have pro license with admin access to the workspace where i publish my reports.

When I check this new option related to export to excel as live connection, it is disabled as below.

Licence mode as Embedded.

Licence type as PRO

Have admin access to the report

Can anyone please guide me what are all the other settings should i take care to enable the export to excel as live connection option.

did you try it on a workspace where license mode is pro (or at least not embedded)?

@daamruth Yes this worked in Pro licence mode and premium capacity mode as well but not as Embedded Licence mode.

lets see if anyone can confirm on that this wont work under embedded licence mode.
