Connect to multiple sources while using enterprise gateway

Hello,

I have an enterprise gateway that can connect to SAP BW and I have tested it by creating a data set with just that one connection.

However, I need to useSAP BW together with some powerBI dataflow and atfer I added the dataflows in, the enterprise connection was not shown in Schedule Refresh anymore.

What could I have done wrong?

Thank you,

Hi @LinhNguyen, thanks for clarifying.

For the Web Page connector in a dataflow, you do need a gateway, as the UI suggests:

Hi @LinhNguyen, that mostly happens when one of the sources in your datamodel (in this case obviously the dataflow) is not a gateway entry. Could you check that the exact source is in your gateway, and you have access to it?

Hi @nickyvv ,

I assumed at first that we didn't need the PowerBI dataflow in our gateway because it's a web data source and if the dataflow is the only datasource, I would normally not even need to set up a gateway.

Do we need to add all of our dataflows into the data gateway?

Thanks,
