Connect to Samba Shared Directory

Hello Experts,

I have a ftp server on a linux machine that have all the files for my reports. My gateway is installed in a windows machine that is in the same network. I have shared the files from the ubuntu server using samba and is accessible on the gateway server as well as on Power BI Desktop. On the desktop, i can easily refresh and fetch the data. I am using folder as my data source. Howeverm when published to the service, i refresh the data. I am able to connect to the folder but I am not able to access the files with the folders. It shows access to the path denied as follows.

As the error shows, the gateway is able to reach the folder and even list the files. However, access to the files is denied. It is working well on the Power BI Desktop from same network. Any help is appreciated.

@sonm10 What account is the gateway running under? Is it Personal Mode or Standard/Enterprise?

Hello @Greg_Deckler Thanks for your reply. I am using Standard mode. I have resolved the issue. I enabled guest mode from Samba and and changed all the files' permission on the FTP Server. Thanks for the help.
