Im getting confused with the documentation and data sizes for Premium
P1 P2 and P3
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/refresh-data#configure-scheduled-refresh
Mentions this
Capacity type Maximum dataset size
Shared, A1, A2, or A3 | 1 GB |
A4 or P1 | 3 GB |
A5 or P2 | 6 GB |
A6 or P3 | 10 GB |
However https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-premium-what-is
states this
Capacity Nodes | RAM (GB) |
EM1/A1 | 3 |
EM2/A2 | 5 |
EM3/A3 | 10 |
P1/A4 | 25 |
P2/A5 | 50 |
P3/A6 | 100 |
What is the difference between the Maximum data set size and RAM GB
Then we are also told Storage is set to 100 TB per capacity node.
Im really struggling to understand the difference between these things.
Solved! Go to Solution.
That makes perfect sense now.
Thank you
