Come procedere con licenza Premium

Buongiorno,

ho preso una licenza Power Bi Premium.

Come faccio a condividere (solo visualizzazione) le mie dashboard/report con i miei colleghi con Power Bi free? Di cosa ho bisogno?

La capacità premium si attiva automaticamente?

Grazie per l'aiuto

Sebastiano

Hi @catomeo ,

Is the license you purchased for Premium or Premium Per User? Premium is capacity-based, while Premium Per User is user-based. For their differences you can refer to the following links.Solved: Premium capacity vs Premium per user capacity - Microsoft Power BI Community

When a workspace is marked as a Premium Per User (PPU) workspace, users must have a Premium Per User (PPU) license to access content in a Premium Per User (PPU) workspace or app.

As mentioned in the reply above, if the workspace is assigned a Premium per capacity, the workspace content can be shared with free users.

Hi @catomeo ,

There are two Power BI Premium SKU families: EM and P. Only the P Premium SKU gives free users the ability to consume content hosted in the Premium capacity.

Global administrators and Power BI service administrators can create Premium capacities from available v-cores.

You can refer to the following documents What is Microsoft Power BI Premium? - Power BI | Microsoft Learn .

After you create a capacity, you can assign a Premium capacity to a workspace, at which point all of the workspace's content can be shared with free users.

If you have Power BI Premium per Capacity. And you publish report to workspace with dedicated capacity, consumers need only Power BI Free licence which si free. It mean, you must create (or change) workspace with dedicated capacity.
