It looks like a bug in service for me. I have a matrix in my report which looks correctly in Desktop but has a formatting issue in service.
In Desktop the column's header outline is set up to "bottom only" and looks correct. Below you can see the headline only as I cropped the sensitive data:
whilst after publishing to service the columns are split by a vertical lines, which simply doesn't look good. What is worse, some of these lines are thickner then others. Look at the line at Level6 vs the one at Level4.
In both desktop and service the outline is set up to bottom only:
So why do I see these vertical lines in service? The browser zoom i set to 100%. Other users can see this as well.
Hope to find a solution here
I had the exact same issue. I worked with Customer Support at Microsoft and they say this is by design, related to how scaling works in the web (the resolution of the screen, the position and the scale factor of the window, sub-pixel thickness, and how/where the rendering falls on the pixel boundary). A workaround is to click the View tab on the upper navigation > Actual Size.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I followed your steps and everything worked fine,I havent found the reason why your issue occured,to reproduce your senario in Service,it seems that the setting is : vertical grid: on.Just like below:
Since you have checked the vertical grid is off,pls create a support ticket via below link and our relevant personnel will help to handle it.

Hi @Anonymous
Pls check whether you have switched the "vertical grid" on in Service?
"format">"grid">"vertical grid":
Hi,
It's off. Are you able to reproduce the issue?
