Column name changed while exporting of table into .xlsx format

Hi,

I am trying to export "summarized data" from a table in .xlsx format.
In the exported excel file, one column name is showing "Table_Name[Column_Name]" instead of the column name defined. Although, I tried to export the other tables but the columns name of those tables are same as expected.

Does anybody know why the column name is exporting as "Table_Name[Column_Name]" and how to fix it ?
Any suggestion on this is really appreciated.

Best Regards,

Ankbaner

hi, @Anonymous

I have tested on my side, but not reproduce the issue.

For example:

8.JPG

Does that happen in other reports? If you try to republish this report?

And if possible, could you share this sample pbix file for us have a test?

I cannot find any solution while navigating through the proposed solutions. Exporting Data with summarized option exports flat file of excel with column names as tablename[ColumnName]. Is this by default?

Hi @v-lili6-msft

Thank you for your reply. There are some sensitive data due to which I cannot share the exact PBIx file. Therefore, I tried to reproduce the issue again and test the export to excel sheet from PBI service. The exported file contains the expected column name instead of “Table_Name[Column_Name]”.
