I have an issue where my colours, backgrounds, and fonts are not publishing correctly to the PBI Service and App.
None of my backgrounds are appearing and the theme is set to the default even though I am using custom theme colours.

Based on my test using the latest version :2.63.3272.40461 64-bit (October 2018). I cannot produce your issue here. Could you please update your Power BI desktop and try again?

Hi Frank, I upgraded my version of PowerBI to the latest one. The issue occurs when I access the Dashboard via Apps - in fact I am getting a very inconsistent experience. If I access it via my Shared Workspace it works fine. Please find attached screenshots below of the different experiences. Sorry for the cropped screenshots - can only share a limited amount.

I think this issue has more to do with the custom theme not publishing to PowerBI Service. Has anyone experienced this and has a workaround or fix?
