Charts in embedded report are empty or truncated

Hello,

I'm getting some weird behaviour when adding a PowerBI report to an Azure Web app.  The report has a custom page size and contains 3 line charts.  Each chart was originally about 170 px high by 295 wide.  With these dimensions when the webpage loaded the lines in the charts would display for a split second then the charts would refresh and be empty (no line).  I then increased the size of each chart to 220 high by 350 wide.  Now the lines in the charts show up.  However, they get cut off and there is no horizontal scroll bar to see the 'cut-off' part of the line.  I increased the size of the charts again to 250 x 450.  At this size I haven't had an issue with the chart being blank or cut off.  However, I'm only displaying a few dozen data points so far.  The weird thin is that in the PowerBI Server, the charts display just fine.  It's only when they are embeded in a web app that they start behaving in this way.  The reason for the small charts is so that they display on a mobile device without the need to sroll.

Anyone run into this odd chart behavior?  Any suggestions on how to fix it while keeping the charts small?

Moe

Hi @MoeCodez,

Could you post some screenshots on this issue? Smiley Happy

In addition, what's the page size you have customized? And have you enabled responsive for the line charts?

Hi @v-ljerr-msft,

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll need to do a little more testing but it looks like enabling responsive did the trick.
