Change in Desktop doesn't update to service

Hello,

I have a problem with updating changes to PBI Service. I published my reports with datasets from Desktop to Service. Then I made some changes in desktop (Added meassures and visuals) but these changes don't refresh into Service.

Do I have to publish them again whenever I make a slight adjustment like these?

HI @Anonymous

Yes, you have to re-publish every time you want to reflect changes created in Power BI desktop into the cloud based Service.

This is for syncronising changes to visuals and measures as well as data. Once in Service you can schedule regular refreshes to update changes in Data, but changes to visuals and measures etc. require re-publishing.

Hope this helps

Stuart
