Certified Datasets - what if data is added to after being certified

Hi all,

Unterstanding certified datasets, does anyone know if there are changes made after a dataset has been certified for example: 

I have a Certified Dataset and I decide to add data lets say from somewhere else to the dataset, will the dataset still be certified?

If so, are there any controls around this? I am documenting and dont have access to the admin is why I am asking here.
