Hi All,
I have multiple workspaces and they are set to refresh on schedule. However for some workspaces i am not able to see Send refresh failure notifications to under the data source settings. I can see for couple of workspaces but not all. Please advice.
Thanks

Hi, @Anonymous
This may depend on your data source connection mode.
In Import connection(Scheduled refresh),you can find the option “send refresh failure notifications”
In direct connection (scheduled cach refresh),you cannot see the settings.

Thanks
Hi @Anonymous
If you cannot see this it is because you are not the current owner of the dataset.
You can change it by clicking at the top to take over the dataset settings.
Thanks Gilbert. I have created the datasources and my screen looks exact same like yours with my name, but still cannot see the settings.

Thanks @v-easonf-msft that is what is happening, so if my direct query mode fails to refresh how will i know?
Hi, @Anonymous
Sorry, I don’t know much about this. You can open a support ticket with MSFT to seek technical support , they will have better suggestions.
Directquery is different from import. It does not refresh in the true sense because it directly connects to the data source to obtain query results. If the refresh fails, it means that you will not be able to see the content in the report visual directly.
