Cannot see Refresh Now option on left panel for Dataset

Hi,

I added 2 scheduled refreshes to a Dataset but I no longer see the option to "Refresh Now" the dataset from the left side pane > three dots.

I do see the option for another Dataset which has only 1 scheduled refresh.

Any idea why?

Hi @shhirji ,

Can you see the refresh.pngbutton in the new look page or the old look page?

Hi @v-yingjl

The New look is turned off.

We refresh our dashboard via the toggle on the left for ease of accessibility. The reresh approach you shared is still available.

Hi @shhirji ,

Based on your description, unfortunately I cannot reproduce this issue in my environment and my colleague's environment. Maybe you can report this issue to https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues if it could be an potential bug or create a support ticket here to get quickly support if it is urgent: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

Hi @shhirji

For me the option to refresh now still exists, both in an old and a new workspace. Is it maybe a shared dataset from another workspace?

Could you share a screenshot after clicking on the 3 dots?

Hi @nickyvv ,

After I refreshed by browser the option appears for me, however, my team members still see this (attached). The dataset is not shared. They are able to see the refresh now option for another dataset. MicrosoftTeams-image (10).png

@shhirji,

What access rights do they have to the workspace?
Can you (now you have access), check the permissions of the dataset for those users?
That's under Manage Permissions under the 3 dots.
