Cannot save changes made in Power BI Online service.

Hello,

My report started acting funny a week ago, it is not keeping the page filters that I had set up in Power BI Desktop.  It is reverting to default "All" status.  I tried to edit the filters in the online service and save to correct the filter change and it gave me this error:

Something went wrong

Client version: 1911.1.023
Cluster URI: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

When I re-publish, the report filters do not change but the data updates.  It is only effecting one page in my 12 page report.

Thanks!

what happens if you had to create a new page in Power BI Desktop.

Copy all the visuals to the new page.

Delete the old page.

Rename the new page to the name of the old page.

Then upload, would that work?

I was able to duplicate the page and save the filter changes.  I now have to wait 24 hours to see if the filters will be saved or forgotten.

Thanks for the idea!

Lets see if that works!

Marking as solution.  The bug seemed to reside in the page itself.  Duplicating and applying filters have brought the dataset back to normal behavior.

Awesome, thanks for letting us know the solution.
