Power Bi Newbie here 🙂
I am having an issue where the dataset online is failing to refresh. Here's the error I am seeing online:
When I try to do it in the desktop, it seems like it's succeeding, but I am not sure. I don't see an error messge when I refresh.
- How do I know which table is timing out?
- Why is this not reproing on the Desktop
- We are querying from a Kusto cluster
Please try to add timeout parameter in your Power Query. See: Advanced Options For Loading Data From SQL Server With Power Query
We can't see detail log on Power BI Service. If you need deep analysis, please create a support ticket.

What is the refresh going through? Is it a Personal Gateway or On-Premise Gateway.
If it is On-Premise, where is the gateway compared to your data source and does that significately differ from when you do the manual refresh through the desktop?
