Cannot open SharePoint to Connect a .pbix from OneDrive to my Power BI Service workspace

Cannot open SharePoint to connect a .pbix from OneDrive to my Power BI Service workspace

Time of reproduction: July 22, 2020, 08:45 CET

  1. Login to Power BI Service
  2. Go to a workspace I created, which has a "Workspace OneDrive" configured in the Settings
  3. Click on "+New", "Upload a file"
  4. "Create new content", "Files" is selected and the OneDrive option shows as a big thumb icon on the right
  5. Click on "One Drive - ...", the rolling spinner animation show and remains forever, DevTools console shows the stacktrace below.
=> rarely it manages to open the Shared Documents and works as expected, but more often it fails and gets stuck as explained

[EDIT 1]: I am logged in using my corporate account to both Power BI Service and to SharePoint. Everything else works as expected.

[EDIT 2]: Found a temporary workaround - it works if I turn the "New look off"!

[EDIT 3]: Unfortunately, it does not actually work with new look off either. Really stuck with this, no clue 😞
