Cannot edit measures for reports connected to a Power BI dataset that's been saved as another report

Hello,

So I edited a report online that's been created by connecting to a Power BI dataset, saved  it as a different report  and then downloaded the pbix.

When I opened it, I was surprised to see not just ther Report view but also the Data and Relationship views. I could create additional measures and calculated columns and delete/edit relationships but I couldn't edit the measures created on top of the Power BI dataset neither could I delete them. Power BI would throw an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object. " error when attempting to delete them.

Anybody who has experienced this?  This is probably a bug in the service.

That sounds very odd. If you are editing the PBIX that you downloaded, it shouldn't really have anything to do with the Service. You could check the Issues forum here:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

And if it is not there, then you could post it.

If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
