Hi everyone,
I try to publish my work from Power BI Desktop to my Workspace.
The Workspace is set to work with dedicated capacity using Power BI embedded A1 for initial testing.
The error message doesn't help much
The file is 1.95 GB on disk, is that too big?
greets Frank
@Anonymous,
How large is the power bi premium SKUs? Power BI Premium supports uploads of Power BI Desktop (.pbix) files that are up to 10 GB in size. Once uploaded, a dataset can be refreshed to up to 12 GB in size. In addtion, check if the power bi desktop has been updated to the lastest version.

Hi @v-yuta-msft, as mentioned above, we have PowerBI Embedded capacity, SKU ist listed as A1.
Do we need additional capacity for Premium as well ?
I thought that dedicated embedded capacity is sufficient for larger files.
We are not yet trying to refresh data, just publish.
My Desktop is the latest one, Version: 2.65.5313.701 64-bit (Dezember 2018)
Any help is appreciated.

Any news here?
We really need to publish our App to be able to test our R-predictions online.
Also App development with embedded Reports is stalled until we can publish.
We didn't expect publishing our work could be a bottleneck...
All data is loaded in import mode, so no reloading so far.

Hi,
I tested today with a reduced dataset, .PBIX-Filesize is 200MB.
Publishing that works fine, still we need to know how to publish the original file with 2GB.
Is there an alternative way to publish, something different than pressing the button in PowerBI Desktop ?
Any help is appreciated.
