Cannot Activate Free Pro Trial

I have had 2 coworkers who have been unable to activate the free Power BI Pro trial in the past 2 weeks. When they go through the steps to activate the free trial, it takes them to the correct report for about 30 seconds before giving the following message: "You have an account with us. You're using name@domain.com with another Microsoft service already. To finish signing up for Microsoft Power BI, sign in with your existing password." When they click that sign in button, they get an error message that they're trying to use a personal email address. They are not - they're using their work email and password that they use for O365. Any suggestions?

 I am having the same problem. I want to start the PowerBI PRO TRIAL. When I try to 'Share' my workplace, I do NOT see the 'Upgrade to PowerBIPRO Trial anymore'.  How come? I get the 'Upgrade Account' button which leads me to an info page on the Microsoft site explaining how to upgrade the account at a cost. Where is the FREE TRIAL?

Just started experienceing this too. Ability to activate the Pro Trial no longer shows up when you user navigates to the workspaces. Wondering if something changes on Microsoft's end? @v-piga-msft do you have any updates?

Hi @hpalmer,

 

By my tests, I haven't reproduce your issue with my free account.

 

 

Please have a try if your coworker could sign in Power BI Desktop with the Pro trial account.

 

In addition, please contact the admin to check if the two accounts are under the active user list in Office 365 admin portal.
