Can't edit Credentials in PBI Services

Hi all,

I have created a report that works wonderfully in PBI Desktop. It fetches data from a REST service using a Custom Data Connector (IMConnector) to read the login token from the response header:

When I publish the report to PBI Services, I get the following error message:

Failed to update data source credentials: The given data source kind is not supported. Data source kind: IMConnector
with Status code: 400

I use a personal gateway for publishing, where my custom connector is known.
As described above, I can change credentials in PBI Desktop, but not in PBI Services:

Does anyone have any idea why I can't change the credentials?

Me neither. I am using Google BigQuery as source, unable to update sourc credentials on Service.

I think, I have found the reason in my case. I had not specified a TestConnection function in the Custom Data Connector, which the Data Gateway needs to be able to store the credentials.
