Can't display the visual - not working for just 1 person

Hello everybody,

once in a while somebody from our organizations has a problem with viewing a particular visual in a report.
The problem is, the person is the only one who has this visual "broken".

They get the "Can't display the visual" and in See more is following:
Couldn't load the data for this visual
Couldn't retrieve the data for this visual. Please try again later.

If I re-do the visual it usually works for them. But I can't seem to understand, why only one person can't display a visual when it's all working for everybody else.
All other visuals are working for the person just fine.

Any advice on this?

Thank you!

Hi @Vilem,

Do any special settings or policies apply to this user account? Has he viewed this content in the same tenant/network without any proxy enabled?  Please share more detailed information to help us clarify this scenario.

Hi @Vilem ,

First question - do they have a filter on perhaps on their version?  Try selecting "Reset to Default" and see if that does anything.

Second, have they tried in a different browser?

And then, are you using RLS or other security that doesn't allow this person to see this particular data and/or visual?  One way to test would be to create a new report with just that visual and publish it to the same workspace and see if that user can see it there.  Is there a gateway in use, if so, is it working and on?

After that, you probably need to have a network trace when that user tries to access it to make sure that the data is feeding all the way back to them.

I would appreciate Kudos if my response was helpful. I would also appreciate it if you would Mark this As a Solution if it solved the problem. Thanks!
