Hi Guys,
Please is there any way i can make buttons actionable on dashboards.
I have a dashboard currently and i would like to include a button where a user can click which then takes them to the detailed reports page (Reports pages has already been created).
The button i have works on the report pages but doesnt not work on dashboards. Any way i can achieve this?

Hi @Anonymous
When you click the specific tile in the dashboard, power bi will bring you to the detailed report page, no need to insert button in it, and neither can it be added.
Kindly refer to the official document to check more:

Hi @Anonymous
There are several ways to achieve this:
1. Add a tile from the report to the dashboard. As the previou poster wrote, clicking the report tile will take you to the report. In fact, it will take you to the report page that contains the tile you clicked.
2. Add a tile to the dashboard. If you use Text Box, you can add a URL link to the report page. You can also add an image and make that link to your report.

While these options work well for a single tile, using a live page in dashboard is the only way to include filters for the dashboard. While these requirements may sound "absurd" to the microsoft creators and power users, these requirements are kind of needed for my client's needs. Pinning a live page on a dashboard takes away the drill through or any of the actions set up in a button inside the page.
Is there any way to get those links working from the dashboard?
Thanks for responses.
Actually i have pinned a live page report to the dashboard and wanted the button on that page to link to another report.
I was hoping i could avoid pinning another tile for this.
