Blank dashboard tiles

Hi,

I published a pbix with 4 reports and 1 dataset to power bi service, and then pinned the 4 reports as 4 tiles in the dashboard, however all the tiles are blank. 

The data source is Azure Data Explorer, Direct Query.

The 4 reports are using page filters, but no RLS or similar. 

The dashboard tiles are always blank, they did not show any data at the beginning, or after refresh. 

How can I troubleshoot this? The search results indicate issues with RLS, some of them mention Direct Query, but I could not find any clear statement. 

I activated the Power BI Pro 60 day Trial and tried to raise a support ticket, but got Unauthorized ...

Just a clarification:

If I pin the whole report ("Pin a live Page") then the dashboard tile shows data. 

If I pin the main table visual from within the report, then the dashboard tile does not show data.

Hmm, it seems that there are 2 rows of symbols for pinning visuals (top-left of the visual when you hover over it), and choosing the wrong one leads to the blank tiles
