Bing Maps error: "The specified credentials are invalid (...)"

Hello,

I have the same issue as reported in another topic when using Bing Maps in my reports and dashboards. I get the following message: "The specified credentials are invalid. You can sign up for a free developer account at http://www.bingmapsportal.com".

How can I resolve this problem? Obviously, I don't undersand the procedure previously explained. I'm using Power BI online.

Many thanks for your help!

Best regards,

Thomas

Hi @Thomasw,

By my tests, I cannot reproduce your issue in my site.

Here is a similar issue as yours, you could have a reference of this solution which has solved the problem.

If you still need help, could you please share a dummy pbix file which can reproduce the issue, so that I can test it in my site? You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.)

Hi @v-piga-msft,

I already saw this topic and unfortunately, I don't understand how to implement the solution as I'm directly integrating data on Bing Maps using Power BI. Also, I can't download a .pbix file from Power BI online. Is it normal?

Many thanks!

Best regards,

Thomas

Hi @v-piga-msft,

Thanks for your help!

Up to now, I don't face the problem anymore, but I don't change anything.

If you cannot dowload a .pbix file from Power BI Service, you should check if you hit these limitations for it.

In addition, are you the owner of the report?

The attachment is my test pbix, you could check if you still have that error for my test file.
