Hello,
I have a set of dashboards with scheduled refresh activated, when a data source fails the update is deactivated - after 5 times trying for an update. The dashboards have eight refreshes per day, so if on a given day there is a failure, PowerBI service would decide to turn off scheduled refresh.
Is there a workaround for this issue?. I can turn on again schedule refresh but sometimes I'm not keeping track that the schedule of the dashboard is off and users let me know - being completely avoidable with an easy configuration or even number of tries, more than 8 in this case.
Kindly Regards,

HI @acanepa,
I'd like to suggest you take a look at following link which told about gateway clusters, it can be used as the failover.
High availability clusters for on-premises data gateway
Notice: the gateway who add to cluster at first will be used as the primary gateway, it need to be running to manage gateway clusters.

Hi @acanepa,
I think you can turn on the 'send refresh failed notification email to me' option to alert if refresh failed.

Hello @v-shex-msft
Email is not a solution because the updates could happen by night and in the morning is already deactivated. Only if I could use it as a part of a flow would be good.
