BUGS on New Desktop Version: 2.43.4647.541 64-bit (February 2017)

Hi,

Version: 2.43.4647.541 64-bit (February 2017)

The new desktop is full of BUGS

The two that are currently preventing progress on my model are:

1. You cannot resize charts in the desktop.  They are too small.

2.  You cannot create relationships between tables.  You can get an object error.

Come on guys.

Don't trust Microsoft releases.

Ensure you can rollback to earlier versions:

Two step process.

1. Using the Feb 2017 Power BI installer package file (.msi) file, I re-ran the file and chose the uninstall option.

2. And then, I re-installed Power BI with the Jan 21, 2017 .msi file; version 2.42.4611.701 or 2.42.4611.901

Hi @DataGuy2016,

I can't reproduce your issue, they work smooth on my side. Can you provide more detailed information about your issue? (e.g. database type, connect mode, operation steps, screenshots...etc)

Test environment: Power bi desktop Version: 2.43.4647.541 64-bit (February 2017).

It is not possible to join tables together.

We are getting an error stating

UNEXPECTED ERROR

Object Reference not set to an instance of an Object

When I delete existing relationships and try to reinstall them, I get the same error.

This is now a serious problem.

Version: 2.43.4647.541 64-bit (February 2017)

There is a BUG in this release.

It is not possible to link tables any longer.

Can the Support team at least acknowledge that they are aware of the problem?

I am unable to raise a support ticket because the page fails.

Have a look at this thread.

@v-shex-msft

Anybody else not able to log support tickets?

I would love to assist in debugging your application, but I don't have the time.  I have given you plenty of indication of the incident and pointed you to another thread on the same topic.

I cannot raise a ticket.  You have a screenshot of the problem.

Please escalate to Lvl 2.
