Automatically export the usage metrics in excel.

Hi all,

I created a report based on the usage metrics of the published reports to show the management the frequent and non frequent report viewers so that the licenses can be assigned accordingly.

I export those metrics into excel file the local repository manually bi-weekly to update the combined report based on the usage but it would be great if there was any auto export option.

Does anyone have any idea regarding that?

Thanks,

K3

Hi @k3rz0rg,

Current power bi not contains any functionality to automatically export usage metrics. You can manually export these records by power bi export feature or submit an idea for this requirement.

Hi @v-shex-msft

thanks for the response. Even I was thinking about posting this into ideas section but before that I wanted to post it here thinking whether that would be a silly request or not.

I will submit this to the idea section and lets see what comes next.
