Automatic refresh of the query

Hello everybody,

I would like to update my queries from Dynamics365 automatically without using a local gateway.
I've already done another report (queries from DYN365) but I don't know where the difference is. The Scheduled Update option is not available.

Thank you for your support!

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can change the setting in the Power Query to NOT refresh the Excel file.  Just UNCHECK it.

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you are cloud to cloud then you don't need to have a gateway.  But, if your dataset is internal, you will have to have a gateway to automatically refresh the data.

I see the problem. I heard about the DYN query an Excel query, which of course is local to the PC. However, this table is static and does not have to refresh. Is there a way to bypass the Excel query?

Hallo @collinq,

it works now.
I simply inserted the static data in an internal Power Bi table and deleted the Excel query. Now all queries only come directly from DY365.

Many thanks for the help!
