I've integrated Power Bi reports in Dynamics 365. The problem I'm facing is that I don't see the refreshed data in dynamics. To see the updated data, I had to refresh my report in Power Bi desktop app and publish it again in the workplace to make the updated data available for everyone to see in dynamics 365.
My question is will the reports in the Dynamics Web Resources be updated automatically with Power BI Pro? It looks like the PowerBI Report needs to be refreshed, saved, and published before the changes are reflected in Dynamics - is this process able to be automated?
Hi @rabbal1892
It is possible with schedule refresh configured.
Please read How to configure schedule refresh in Power BI.
Please refer to my previous reply to a similar problem.
(D365O&F) (OData Feed) Published My Report on My Workspace, But It Won't Get New Data Record
If you have the data from Dynamics 365 and on-premises data in the same pbix file, please refer to this thread.

@v-juanli-msft thanks for replying to the question with plausible solutions.
So my data is on the cloud and for that, I don't think I would need a gateway. I have scheduled "periodic refresh" which seems to be working fine. The only thing I'm worried about it is publishing it. It seems the report is getting updated but it's not getting published so the others can see the updated version.
I have integrated power bi in my dynamics 365 to display the report. Whenever something changes, the report is updated in power bi but the changes are not getting reflected on dynamics 365. How do I make it happen?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
