Automate Import/Deploy PBIX files to PBI Service

Dear Techies,

I have a new requirement in my organization. We have handful of clients in Power BI now. We have different app workspace for each client. I need to have installation/upgrade of Power BI reports automated so that I don't have to spend 5 minutes PER REPORT (per client!) in deploying reports either during an upgrade or new installation.

This would be a problem as we add more clients and reports.

Can you please help me to overcome this problem? Is it possible to achieve this using REST API?

Please sugest

Thanks,

Latheesh

Hi @latheesh89,

Yes. You could refer to Post Import to upload pbix file.

Please refer to this article to get started: Overview of Power BI REST API.
