Auditing user selections in a report

Hi

we have a single report that holds data for multiple countries and we have users who have access to multiple countries.

We can therefore capture when a user opens a report but not which country they select in the slicer.

Apart from separate reports or user accounts has anyone been able to capture audit records of what a user selects in a report?

thanks

Earl

Thanks. I think this confirm my understanding that this isn't audited by default.

We will look to use the API's for embedded and capture the filter state changing.

You need to raise a Pro ticket with Microsoft for that. It is an extremely costly request (in terms of effort and time) as they need to restore, decrypt (with your permission) and parse their logs. You should only consider that in cases of potential data leaks or other potentially criminal activity, and you need to be very specific (and narrow) in the requested scope to have any chance of success.
