Suspect this is not possible, but no harm in asking...
Current process for doing assessments/evaluations is for team to open up a number of PDF files, read through and copy/paste notable phrases/sentances out to a different document/application. The data from the PDF files are also available in tables, so we are building a report which displays key sections across the PDF files in Power BI tables. The team is excited to use a reporting solution to centrally view the data, however fear this won't meet their needs as they can only copy the entire cell contents of a cell (which could be paragraphs) in a Power BI table, vs. just specific text within the cell.
Does anyone have any ideas/solutions? Custom visual or any thing else?

Possible but at a high (performance) cost. You may want to look for other tools that are more specialized in text search.
