Hi, PowerBI Pro user here.
From July 6, 2020 through August 4, 2020 - I somehow lost the ability to yield an .odc file when selecting 'Analyze in Excel' on a PowerBI Report.
Now when selecting 'Analyze in Excel' it downloads a .xlsx file. When opened, the .xlsx shows the ability to create a pivot table but not of the underlying fields or metrics from the PowerBI Report are visible.
Help! Need to be able to re-download an .odc file.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Just go to the connection properties to see the information you need. The .xlsx file has the .odc data included.
