I don't have an example but you can check the announcement post that contains one.

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/the-power-bi-activity-log-makes-it-easy-to-download-activit...

There you can see how powershell gets data. You need a power bi admin account. To dip dive on this you can check: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-auditing

Hope this help

That the only automatic report metrics you have in power bi. You can build your own with the power bi api rest too.

Hi,

Thanks for link.

Was also reading which allows reportinng of usage metrics across a workspace if remove report filtter.

Wondering if iption to say remove a workspace filter somehow which woudl allow reporting across all workspaces?

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-usage-metrics#Save-the-Usage-Met...

Thanks

I don't think you can check across all workspaces with that automatic report. You can delete the reportid to check all of them in a workspace but not across workspaces. If you want that you have to go and build a custom report usage with audit logs. You can get activities with the Power Bi Rest API and build it.

Thanks reply.

Do you/anyone have an example of report uisng activit logs. It woudl seem common requirement of any reporting tool to have auditing functionality wuch as this and imagine someone has built this already.
