Advanced filters not available in Power BI Service

I set up filters in the filter pane as advanced filters in desktop and publish, but the filter in the service still shows the list of each date.  Is there a setting I need to change?

Hi @dlwallace,

I would suggest you upgrading PowerBI Desktop to the latest version first, based on my test, I can't reproduce this problem on the latest version.

I upgraded to latest desktop version and still getting same results.  I did notice today that it happens in the filter area "Filters on this visual", but works as expected if I add the filter to "Filters on this page". 

I can work with that.
