Administrator for several clients

Hi,

I am planning to create a datamodel in Excel Power Query or Power BI and offer several SME clients a Power BI solution including my data model. These clients all use the same ERP system so the datamodel and underlying datasets (CSV files) are all the same.

Is it possible for me to be an administrator for several different clients (=different companies)?  I am not an office 365 administrator of these clients and also not planning to become that; only for power BI.

Furthermore, do the employees of my clients all need an office 365 subscription to grant them access so that I can easily offer them the result of the datamodel without going into the model itself (exclude acces to power query)? My main concern now is the needed office 365; a lot of my clients do not have that in their organization. 

SME clients do not have a DBA, data analist etc. so the solution needs to be managable for an external consultant.

Well, You can not be the administrator for all of your clients unless they are all on the same domain. 

The solution for you is to be the administrator for the client. The company should grant you an access to their domain registrar portal to be able to be the administrator (Copyin gof the Text Values from  Microsoft PowerBI cloud Portal) to the Domain register panel and then you can manage the users of your client.
