Administering Power BI

Hello,

My organization has purchased 30 licences of Power BI Pro. Now it's turn to assign them to our employers.

My question is, if  a license is assigned to user A, is it possible, in the future to change this user A and give the license to user B? Or we would need to pay for another license?

Thank you!

hi @afp141991

I can confirm that you get a pool of Power BI Licenses.

So that means you can add and remove licenses between users. As with your example you can have User A have a Power BI Pro License. Then for a specific reason, you want to give the license to User B, so you go into User A and remove the Power BI Pro License and then assign it to User B.

The Power BI License is not tied to a person, but rather a total count for the tenant.
