Add members to Row Level Security

In power BI desktop, where we go to "Manage Roles" and define the roles. Then in the online service, where we add email addresses to the roles you defined in desktop.

Is there way to add 500 people in one go. Now I'm adding one-by-one, which is tedious job

@Chinoos,

We can add multiple users to ROLE at one time. And no delimiter is need between users.

Besides, you could contact with you domian administrator to create a users group and then add users to this group. Then you could add this group to Role.

I haven't done this yet, but I will when the light switches from yellow to green...  Create a sharepoint group and assign people to the group - then just assign the group to the role.  At least that's how I *think* it should work 🙂  A guy can dream... cause if that doesn't do it, then I, too, will be entering them one-at-a-time.

Members for Security are available in a SQL Server Database table.

One I mentioned in adding members is into Security for Dataset at Online services.

Tried copy-paste with different email-id separated by commas and semi colon, that didnt work

Please suggest a method

Comma separated email ids can be pasted to add users to roles. There seems to be a limit of 1000 addresses (across roles) for a single report.
