Add Excel Online in Sharepoint as a Dataset to Gateway Cluster

Hi,

I have a dataset that I want to add to my gateway so I can schedule data refreshes. The data is in a Excel file on Sharepoint. Here is what I have tried so far:

Checked the  "allow users's cloud data..." box

I was expecting an OAuth2 authentication method here but I don't see that option:

Re: Add Excel Online in Sharepoint as a Dataset to Gateway Cluster

Hi @Justair07

Do you connect to Sharepoint source online or on premise?

As tested, If it is online list, after publish report from Power BI Desktop to Service, go to "Setting"->select this dataset->scedule refresh->edit credential

After sign in with my organizational account which is both used for Power BI Service and Sharepoint online list.

I can refresh succefully.

Best Regards

Maggie

@v-juanli-msft  I'm connecting to the Sharepoint Source Online. I did exactly as you show in your picture and it is succesful in configuring my credentials. My issues is when I try to add a new data source to my Gateway, I get this error:
