In my desktop version my larger numbers have comma to seperate thousands. When I publish and look at the data online the comma's to identify 1,000s disappear. Is there something I can do to include them? Do others have this issue? I've seen online dashboards that include them.
Hi, Any news on thousand seperator and comma?
I am seeing this issue too. commas in Power BI Desktop not carring over when I publish to the web. I see that this post is a year old now, any solution?
Check your measure Data Format (under 'Modeling' ribbon menu, when you've got an individual measure selected). You can set formatting to include thousand separators.
If your data formatting is set up appropriately in Desktop and not respected in the Service, then that's a bug.
Make sure you submit this as a bug report, as well. You can do so in PBI Desktop by using the 'Send a frown' option in the File menu, or by opening a ticket here for bugs in the PBI Service.
The forums are a great avenue for discussing issues, sharing thoughts / ideas, and troubleshooting, but they are not the official medium to submit bug reports.
Proper bug reports will receive more attention from the devs than forum posts.
