data refresh for anonymous login with REST-API won't work on Report Server

I am using REST-API to connect to external data and convert the data into json.

In Desktop it works fine for me, but ones uploaded to the PBI Report Server data refresh is not working as anonymous login won't work.

Any workaround for this issue?

Thanks for your help!

Torben

Hi @TOK ,

The report server will not accept unauthenticated requests from an anonymous user, except for those deployments that include a custom authentication extension.

How are you connecting to source? odata, json, ...?

Please check if is supported:

I am connecting with json, so it should be supported for scheduled refresh..
I think that the authorization method on premises does not recognize the token .
