Word Wrap

Power BI Desktop: Version: 2.51.4885.1041 64-bit (October 2017)

Power BI Report Server: Version 1.1.6530.30789 (October 2017)

On the desktop version word wrap works on a card visualization. However on the report server the text does not wrap

Is this a known issues with a work around?

Hi @Anonymous,

In my test, the word wrap only works for category label in a card visual. After publishing to report server, the tile is still wrapped.

In your scenario, could you please post a screenshot to show the result you got in desktop and web portal?

I have experienced a similar issue with column headers.  When Publishing from Desktop to the server the word wrap is lost.  The only way to get the word wrap back is to edit the file on the server and make the word wrap active under column headers in the format section.

This might not be the same issue, but I'm seeing my Card Title not respond to word wrap.

When the title is "Median Hours to Respond" and the Card has a number of "0.5," having th title drag on for a while removes some valuable visual space. Am I missing something?

See:

I'm seeing the exact same problem.
