Why do reports take 20 mins to load after updating to report server August 2018?

Reports unusable since updating to PBIRS August 2018, just loading wheel!

To fix I need to go back to March 2018; whats the easiest way of doing it; because March 2018 updated OK, we did not take a snapshot. We have 27 reports in use daily, some are OK (basic, not much data).

Why is August 2018 update unusable?

Could be a browser cache issue. Have you tried clearing out the browser cache and trying again?

Note that the browser cache issue with PBIX reports has been fixed in August release but users still need to manually clear their browser cache one last time here.

Hi Rohit,

Sorry, may be I did not explain issue very; after 24 years in IT Support I would be ref faced if it was that.

Only one report of 27 has this issue and have kept all previous versions, they also have issue.

I have fixed buy ticking parrallel loading, OK in this instance as SQL Server; so basically since updating to August 2018 PBIRS, this is a must.

P.S parrrallel loadng can cause issues with Excel and Access datasources.

I have also re-designed the report, new formatting means I don't need DAX conditional traffic light web url links.
