Where do I raise defects ?

Hi,

I think I broke the Azure Fabric for Power BI Embedded. Do the dev team watch these forums? I need help.

I have the following error:

Invoke-RestMethod : {"error":{"code":"InternalError","subCode":0,"message":"An internal error occurred.
","timeStamp":"2020-07-16T13:10:02.6404574Z","httpStatusCode":500,"hresult":-2147467259,"details":[{"co

(fabric:/pbi-reports-dev-eus2, fabric:/pbi/pbi-reports-dev-eus2/backend.service)"}]}}
At line:50 char:11

from using the API detailed here:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi-embedded/capacities/create

The service is crashed/stuck in provisioning somewhere in the cloud ether - I hope I'm not being billed for it!

I am now unable to delete it either:

Invoke-RestMethod : {"error":{"code":"BadRequest","subCode":7,"message":"Service is not ready to be upd
ated","timeStamp":"2020-07-16T13:19:08.094316Z","httpStatusCode":400,"hresult":-2147467259,"details":[{

}

Any help would be appreciated.

Simon

There are Microsoft staff on these forums, but if you think something is broken you would be better off raising a support ticket.

To do this login to powerbi.com then click on the ? symbol in the top right of the page,

then click on "Get Help"

then part way down the page is a link that says "Raise a Support Ticket"

That link takes you to the following page https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/ initially it will search for similar issues, but if you don't find any there is a button at the bottom of the page to raise a new incident.

If you log your issue this way you are guaranteed to get a support engineer to look at it. And given your issue is with a 500 (server error) from the Power BI service I think this is the best approach.
