We have Power BI Report Server installed on a server (Version1.14.8179.37378(May 2022)). A report has been uploaded to this instance which is viewed in an iFrame of another application. The instance of Power BI has been installed on the domain ABC. When users log on to the ABC domain they are able to view the report in the iFrame.
There is a requirement that users in a different domain named DEF be able to log on to the application and view the report. However, when they tried it fails.
We are able to successfuly add a user in the DEF domain to the browser role in the instance of Power BI Report Server. However, when that person goes to the URL of the report, she is unable to view the report.
So, Power BI Report Server is installed on the ABC domain. It is able to authenticate users on the DEF domain. What would we have to do so that users on the DEF domain can view the report?
Hi @Lorenz33 ,
Have trust relationships been created between your multiple domains?

This will not work in that ten end users aren't sighed into EXTERN via NTLM. Custim authentication will need to be done to do the callback to SecureXNET/DACS.
