Upgrade multiple versions at once

Hello all,

I have a small question. I am in PBIRS May 2020 version, is it possible to upgrade in one time to May 2021 version? Or do I have to upgrade in October 2020, then January 2021 then May 2021?

Because I have this error that I don't really understand...

Setup: Sending usage data: Operation:Upgrade, Outcome:Failure, ExitPoint:FailedCondition, ErrorMessage:The server did not understand the request, or the request was invalid (0x800C000C)

Thank in advance for your help,

Vivien

@vivien57 My understanding is that PBIRS version updates are cumulative, meaning that you should be able to go from one to another without the interim versions. Maybe a support ticket? You could check the Issues forum here:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

And if it is not there, then you could post it.

If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".

@vivien57

No need to update all versions, you can just install the latest version with all features are included.
