Unable to proceed from data source credential when editing the credential.

Hi everyone,

I want to setup a schedule refresh in PowerBI service. The data source of my report is coming from MySQL. When I try to edit the credential under data source, a pop out window as shown in the screenshot above shown to me, asking me to fill in Username and Password. Once I filled in all the detail (the username and password is correct), I click "sign in". The problem is the time taken for signing in seems like never ending. I've been waiting for more than 1hour already but it is still the same.  May I know what is the potential reason for this? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Anonymous ,

For on-premises MySQL data source, you may need a gateway to refresh data. You can refer to this process of Refresh data from an on-premises SQL Server database to refresh your data. It's similar.
